Yoga has been a life-changing journey for me, and it's my joy to share that yoga experience with others. I’ve been practicing for 17 years and teaching for over 10 years, specializing in Vinyasa, Power, and Yin Yoga—styles that blend strength with stillness, movement with mindfulness.
My teaching is shaped by both my study and life experiences. I am an E-RYT 200 certified instructor with a BA in Philosophy from the University of Maine and postgraduate studies in England and Norway. This blend of yoga and philosophy has shaped my approach to teaching, nurturing not just the body, but also the mind and spirit.
My journey also includes over 35 years as a PGA Class A member and Director of Instruction. What connects my work—on the mat and on the course—is a deep passion for helping people realize their potential. Growth comes through practice, patience, and presence, and I love guiding others along that path.
Through Zen Fjord Yoga, my goal is to help you slow down, reconnect, and discover the strength and stillness already within you. I teach in Naples, Florida, and lead retreats in the stunning fjords of Norway, where nature itself becomes part of the practice.

Yoga found me when I needed it most—offering me breath when I had forgotten how to breathe, and stillness when life felt like constant motion. Born in Norway, between coastal islands where the mountains meet the sea, after years of searching, I discovered yoga as a practice of coming home to myself. What began as personal healing became a calling to create spaces where others could do the same.
My training includes 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training along with certifications in Yin Yoga, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Reiki II, and Holistic Life Coaching. My teaching is grounding and body-honoring, designed to help you soften into your body without force or expectation. No flexibility required—just a willingness to breathe and be present.
For over 20 years, I've worked as a flight attendant, connecting with people from every corner of the world. In the sky and on the mat, I've learned the same truth: presence, adaptability, and meeting people exactly where they are is what matters most.
Sharing this beautiful Norwegian landscape where my own journey began, where simply being surrounded by nature does much of the work, and supporting you in reconnecting with the peace and strength that have always been within you, is what this retreat is all about.
